Human Body Is Not Designed
What’s up Heathens! Today we are taking a look at a guy that says laminin proves that God exists and he designed the human body. This is obviously wrong but why is he wrong? What is laminin and why doesn’t it prove that God exists? Let’s take a look.
For one thing, you can look this up on Snopes and find that this has been an argument for god for a while. There are various stories that exist that bring up this point. This guy is telling a false anecdotal story about him and an anonymous microbiologist. This is similar to other church stories you hear about that are parables and not real stories. Christians are great at making up stories in order to teach a lesson. Their entire faith is based upon it.
Next, Laminin is a complex that works along with other complexes to make our tissues hold together. That’s the cell cohesion part of it but he leaves out that it’s one component of a multitude of components that work together. Laminin on it’s on isn’t going to do much. Multiple types of laminin are found in the body with different shapes. A microbiologist would know this so it’s disingenuous to actually use a highly selected image to prove your point. So this situation was born out of a non-scientific person finding an image of laminin and succumbing to pareidolia and assuming that means God exists. He then made up a parable in order to effectively teach it to his congregation despite the fact that he’s letting his ignorance get the best of him.
