Pastor Fails To Silence Anything

What’s Up Heathens! Today we are tackling Pastor Greg Locke as he tries to silence atheism… once again. He attempts to do so however painful it may be.

Pastor Locke first starts off with a strawman fallacy. Saying that atheists have become so antagonistic. He claims we hate a god that we don’t believe in which is nonsense. We don’t believe in it so it wouldn’t make sense to hate it. We don’t hate leprechauns because of that one movie they made. He presents this strawman argument because he knows his followers will eat it up. It’s what they want to hear. They don’t want to actually admit that we just don’t believe in him. They want us to hate him because it’s the only way they can rationalize disbelief.

Next, he says that God is incomprehensible but that just means he is worthy of worship. That just doesn’t make sense and is an odd requirement for your god, isn’t it? It’s crazy to think that a god has to be incomprehensible in order to either exist or be worshiped. That just screams bullshit.

Next, he talks about the argument from evil. Basically that we use the argument that because bad stuff happens then God doesn’t exist. That’s not the exact argument used by many atheists. To Pastor Greg Locke here, God is an all good entity. How can that entity be good if he has evil being done to people? So either he created the evil and is not all good or that “all good” god simply doesn’t exist. Not that this Yahweh can’t exist, just that his interpretation of his scriptures is wrong.

He also talks about comparing god to doctors and barbers. That is a false equivocation. He also discusses atheists denying accountability. That is ridiculous as religious people are really the only ones trying to deny accountability for their actions.
