Christian Concepts are always Backwards

What’s Up Heathens! Today we are talking about backwards religious thinking. From magic to responsibility, these are 5 of the most backward Christian concepts.

First is Magic created everything in the Big Bang. Creationists will often talk about how “evolutionists” or atheists will believe that the entire universe was magically created from nothing by nothing. Meanwhile, in the Bible, many things are magical. The whole universe is literally, magically created instantaneously. Plants magically survive without sunlight. Samson magically has super strength. Noah magically collects all the animals onto the ark. The world is magically populated through incest… twice.  I mean the list could go on and on with magical shit in the bible…

Next is the idea that there is no point in life for atheists. They think that everything is meaningless without God or some magical creator. This is just very confusing to me. Common sense should tell you that, a secular worldview places a high value on this life.  Now consider the religious perspective of valuing life. There is an infinite eternity waiting for them after they die. If you compare this life to the eternal life, then this life is so minuscule that it would essentially mean nothing.

Backwards thinking isn’t good

Next is a skewed concept of justice. A lot of Christians talk about how the only way to have true justice is to believe in their god. Their god is the only one that will truly judge those in the next life. Except that there is an obvious loophole to this particular belief. To escape this judgment all you need to do is believe in Jesus. And boom. You’re past the celestial bouncer. We have a justice system and a certain knowledge that sometimes justice isn’t served. We, as a society, are responsible for handing out this justice and like everything else, it is flawed. Acknowledging this fact allows us to compensate and improve our justice system instead of accepting a flawed system and expecting a magical solution to our problems.

Second to last is escaping responsibility. A lot of times theists will tell us that we want to be atheists so we can escape responsibility for our actions. Mainly these actions are supporting progress in our society by realizing that certain actions are perfectly fine. Theism actually has no eternal blowback for your actions unless your in Mormonism or the JW cults where swift action for masturbation and impure thoughts could cost you, everyone, you love. Religious people escape any kind of responsibility by hiding behind their god and the devil or demons. We see this all time in sex scandals that plague the Christian community. From Catholics to cool preachers that wear jeans on Sunday.

Let’s move forward, instead backwards

Finally, we have a lack of evidence for our beliefs. Christians like to throw out that we don’t have evidence. Evidence against God’s existence. You don’t provide evidence of non-existent things. There is a lack of evidence to prove there is a god, so we can conclude that there isn’t one. Evidence for evolution. There’s a slew of evidence proving evolution. I mean literally anything that is against the Bible, they want us to have evidence for. And we do, they just won’t accept it. Meanwhile, all they have is a book. Using that book you get the homosexual community causing the hurricane season.
